Sooo..... I like this guy?

well i kw him since my junior yr in high school and i just grad... and while i was still in high school... i was at the library doing hw and as i was leaving i bumped into him.... and we were just like wow... we traded numbers and then he took a pik of me while i was talking to hz friend and he still has it... but the point is that he just broke up with his gf in feb and he hates her yet hz still in love with her... he even went to peru.. to get away from things and before he went i told him i lkd him and he told me that he lkd me as well nexcept that he wasnt over hz x and he didnt want me to be the rebound girl i guess.... but then he was lk u wanna be my best friend and i said ya... and he even told my other friend that we liked each other and we already told each other but then when a friend that we both kw asked him... he said no just as a friend and he didnt mean it that way... sooo do u guys think he doz or hz just trying to tell people what they want to hear
