What is babylon??????

It was an ancient city in what is now called Iraq. It is now a metaphorical term for anyplace where the population has built an empire upon its own arrogance, greed, and corruption, making it a target of Allah's impending wrath, but first He will send a warner to them, as explained in Qur'an.
